La verdad herida. Reflexiones sobre la posverdad

Abstract

Ante las actuales dudas sobre la verdad (cuyas raíces históricas y filosóficas repasa), el autor muestra que para la fe cristiana la Verdad no es algo a lo que acceder, sino Alguien en quien permanecer; no es algo que poseer, sino Alguien a quien acoger; no es algo que elegir, sino Alguien que ha hecho una elección por nosotros, y que cada uno puede, o no, aceptar. Reconocer la Verdad es expresión y consecuencia de una relación, más que un ejercicio de reflexión.In view of the current doubts about the truth (whose historical and philosophical roots he reviews), the author shows that for the Christian faith the Truth is not something to access, but Someone to remain; it is not something to possess, but someone to welcome; it is not something to choose, but Someone who has made a choice for us, and that everyone can, or can not, accept. Recognizing the Truth is an expression and consequence of a relationship, rather than an exercise in reflection.
