La figura de la extradición. Caso de estudio: Las relaciones España-Estados Unidos

Abstract

Este trabajo se centra en la cooperación internacional en materia procesal. Concretamente, llevará a cabo una exposición y explicación de la figura de la extradición, centrándose para ello en las relaciones en este sentido entre España y Estados Unidos. Estudiará el origen y justificación de esta figura, así como su significado y desarrollo en el sistema español. Posteriormente, este estudio será trasladado al caso específico España-Estados Unidos, del que se realizará un análisis de los diversos Tratados que regulan estas relaciones y finalmente, con el objetivo de hacer más visibles las peculiaridades y características fundamentales del mismo se trataran y estudiaran diversos casos concretos.This project is going to talk about the international cooperation in procedural matters. Specifically, it will carry out an exposition and explanation of the figure of extradition, focusing for this purpose on relations in this regard between Spain and the United States. It will study the origin and justification of this figure, as well as its meaning and development in the Spanish system. Subsequently, this study will be transferred to the specific case of Spain and the United States, from which an analysis will be made of the different Treaties that regulate these relations. Finally, in order to make the peculiarities and basic characteristics of the same more visible, they will be treated and studied specific cases.
