Fundamento antropológico del discernimiento

Abstract

El artículo se interroga por los fundamentos antropológicos del discernimiento; es decir, indagamos si el ser humano está diseñado constitutivamente de tal modo que el discernimiento se dibuja en el ho- ri]onte de su e[istencia, más que como una opción o posibilidad, como una necesidad para alcan]ar su identidad humana de forma logradaThe article explores the anthropological foundations of discernment, viewing it not only as a spiritual method but as an essential aspect of human existence. From a philosophical and theological perspective, Nurya Martínez-Gayol argues that discernment arises from the vulnerability, openness, relationality, and freedom that constitute human nature. The author maintains that discernment is inherent to humanity, as it enables moral responsibility, ethical orientation toward the good, and the achievement of authentic human fulfillment. The paper also discusses the psychological and cognitive factors that support or hinder discernment and highlights its role in personal and spiritual growth. It concludes that discernment is a lifelong process essential for human maturity, freedom, and authenticity.
