España en el primer tercio del s.XX: historia y representación artística

Abstract

Este trabajo aborda la evolución económica y social de España entre 1898 y 1936, marcada por el impacto de la pérdida de sus últimas colonias y el inicio de la Guerra Civil, respectivamente. Se analizará la transformación del sector agrario, el progreso de la industrialización en regiones específicas del país y los movimientos migratorios durante este periodo. Asimismo, este trabajo también tiene como objetivo establecer conexiones entre la transformación de España y el arte de la época. Para ello, se emplearán pinturas contemporáneas que representen escenas cotidianas de la vida de las personas en estas actividades, con el fin de explorar la crítica social y la percepción de la realidad desde la perspectiva del artistaThis paper addresses the economic and social evolution of Spain between 1898 and 1936, marked by the impact of the loss of its last colonies and the outbreak of the Civil War, respectively. It will analyse the transformation of the agricultural sector, the progress of industrialisation in specific regions of the country and migratory movements during this period. This work also aims to establish connections between the transformation of Spain and the art of the period. To this end, contemporary paintings depicting everyday scenes of people's lives in these activities will be used to explore social criticism and the perception of reality from the artist's perspective.
