Los refugiados por cuestiones de orientación sexual e identidad de género
Abstract
Pertenecer a un colectivo como es el LGTBI+ ha sido motivo de represión, odio y persecución en las distintas etapas de la historia y en las diversas sociedades que han existido. Hoy en día, en muchas de las sociedades existentes, la homosexualidad, bisexualidad y transexualidad son motivo de protección por parte de las administraciones públicas, lo que nos lleva a un paradigma diferente que ha ido cambiando durante los años. Sin embargo, en otros muchos Estados, sigue siendo motivo de persecución y está penado por la Ley, por ello considero muy importante hablar sobre las personas que solicitan asilo y estatus de refugiado debido al miedo y a la vulnerabilidad que padecen en sus países de origen. Estos atentados contra la identidad y forma de amar de las personas entraron a formar parte de los delitos y del discurso del odio en el año 2003.
En definitiva, en este trabajo pretendo, no solo exponer la situación de las personas refugiadas por formar parte del colectivo LGTBI+, sino denunciar e investigar casos reales en nuestro país.
Being part of an excluded group like LGBTI+ has always been a reason to suffer from repression, hate and pursuit in the different stages of history. Nowadays, in a lot of the existing modern societies, homosexuality, bisexuality and transsexuality is a reason of protection by public administrations, which takes us to a different paradigm that has been changing during the years. However, in many other countries it is still a motive of pursuit and it’s punished by law; therefore, I consider important to talk about people who request asylum and the refugee status due to the fear and vulnerability they suffer in their origin countries. These outrages towards the identity and the way people love each other joined the list of hate crimes in the late 2003. What I pretend with this project is, not only present the situation of refugees that are part of LGTBI+ collective, but also report and research real cases in our country.
