Estudiantes sanitarios ante la muerte. Acompañar para afrontarla y formar para pensarla

Abstract

Se trata de un acercamiento para conocer la relación de los estudiantes de profesiones sanitarias con la muerte, su afrontamiento más personal, su grado de conocimiento de las cuestiones más conflictivas en el ámbito bioético, y también sus propias opciones morales. A continuación, el acercamiento será para conocer qué tipo de formación en este campo se está ofreciendo en nuestras facultades. Es necesario formar en la relación humana y profesional con la muerte y, cómo no, en el afrontamiento ético del cada vez más complejo proceso del morir en nuestras tecnificadas sociedades.

It is an approach to know the relationship of students in health professions with death, their more personal coping, their degree of knowledge of the most conflictive issues in the bioethical field, and also their own moral options. Next, the approach will be to know what kind of training in this field is being offered in our faculties. It is necessary to train in the human and professional relationship with death and, of course, in the ethical confrontation of the increasingly complex process of dying in our technified societies.
