Telemedicine, understood as remote medical assistance, has suddenly fallen in our consultations during this stage of life that we have had to live, with the confinement of the Covid-19 pandemic. And it is a tool of the doctor-patient relationship that is here to stay. We could include telemedicine, both telephone consultations and access through video consultation. It is evident that not all medical acts performed in consultation can be done through this tool, and that in no way access to telemedicine can substitute for face- to-face medical consultation. But if it is a useful tool in certain cases, such as the monitoring of patients with chronic pathology, possible modifications in treatments, the resolution of doubts, being able to send prescriptions and, above all, the communication of the results of the tests carried out. We must put the patient at the center of our medical activity and favoring the doctor-patient relationship through this platform allows us to take into account an important value for the patient that is the management of their time and therefore accessing the demand for patients, we have no choice but to resort to using this new tool.
