La crisis financiera de 2007 : causas, consecuencias y medidas adoptadas : el caso español

Abstract

La crisis financiera de 2007 cambió por completo el panorama económico y financiero internacional. El objetivo de este trabajo es, en primer lugar, analizar y entender las causas y el origen de dicha crisis, así como su contagio al resto de economías del mundo. Posteriormente, se estudiará el impacto de dicha crisis en Europa, dadas las características de la Unión Europea, y en concreto del euro. A continuación, se analizarán detalladamente las particularidades de la crisis en España, tales como el sector bancario o la burbuja inmobiliaria, que han provocado que ésta azote con mayor dureza a los ciudadanos españoles frente a nuestros vecinos europeos. Finalmente, se repasarán las medidas adoptadas para paliar los efectos de la crisis, se valorarán dichas medidas y se propondrán nuevas reformas.The financial crisis that started in 2007 has completely changed the economic and financial international landscape. First of all, the aim of this paper is, to analyse and understand the causes and origin of the crisis, as well as its contagion to the rest of the world’s economies. We will also study the impact of such crisis in Europe, taking into account the characteristics of the European Union and specially the euro. Furthermore, we will look at the particularities of the economic crisis in Spain, such as the banking sector or the real state bubble, which have deepened the effects of the crisis for the Spanish families in comparison to other European countries. Finally, we will overlook the measures that have been taken to mitigate the consequences of the crisis, their effectiveness and propose further reforms.
