Los recientes avances tecnológicos del siglo XXI, suponen grandes logros en términos de desarrollo económico y social. Sin embargo, la expansión de la capacidad de las nuevas tecnológicas en el desempeño de tareas manuales y cognitivas que tradicionalmente pertenecían a la mano de obra humana, desafían el futuro del empleo en la sociedad. El análisis del impacto de las nuevas disciplinas tecnológicas y los efectos que ya están causando en el mercado laboral, plantea incluso el debate sobre el fin del trabajo como actividad humana.The recent technological advances of the 21st century mean great achievements in terms of economic and social development. However, the expansion of the capacity of new technologies in the performance of manual and cognitive tasks that traditionally belonged to the human labor force, challenges the future of employment in society. The analysis of the impact of the new technological disciplines and the effects they are already having on the labour market even raises the debate on the end of work as a human activity.
