Inteligencia artificial y humanismo digital: nuevos retos en la enseñanza del Derecho

Abstract

El capítulo reflexiona sobre los desafíos que plantea la irrupción de la inteligencia artificial en la enseñanza universitaria del Derecho. La autora analiza cómo las nuevas tecnologías afectan tanto la transmisión del conocimiento como la formación ética y cognitiva del alumnado. Examina los cambios en el mercado laboral jurídico, la pérdida de habilidades cognitivas por la “descarga cognitiva”, y la necesidad de fomentar la atención, la memoria y la cultura general. Defiende un enfoque humanista y crítico frente al uso de la IA, subrayando la importancia del “humanismo digital” como base para formar juristas capaces de adaptarse al siglo XXI sin renunciar a la esencia de lo humano y del pensamiento crítico.

This chapter reflects on the challenges posed by the emergence of artificial intelligence in university legal education. The author examines how technological change influences both the transmission of knowledge and the ethical and cognitive development of law students. It discusses the transformation of the legal labor market, the cognitive impact of “offloading” mental tasks to digital tools, and the importance of attention, memory, and general culture. The text advocates for a humanistic and critical approach to AI, proposing “digital humanism” as a necessary framework to train future jurists who can adapt to the 21st century while preserving the intellectual and moral essence of their profession.
