Introducción. Memoria viva de una ética compartida: veintidós años dando que pensar y mirando al futuro.

Abstract

Este capítulo introductorio presenta la memoria académica 2024-2025 de la Cátedra Iberdrola de Ética Económica y Empresarial como balance de más de dos décadas de trabajo compartido. José Luis Fernández Fernández subraya la unidad temática del volumen en torno a la dimensión ética de la actividad investigadora, docente y de transferencia, y destaca el valor de formular preguntas que estimulen nuevas reflexiones en un contexto marcado por la digitalización y la inteligencia artificial. El texto repasa además proyectos, seminarios, premios, talleres doctorales e iniciativas recientes de la cátedra, agradeciendo la contribución de sus colaboradores y el patrocinio de Iberdrola. Finalmente, sitúa el futuro de la cátedra en la profundización de la ética de la inteligencia artificial y en la continuidad institucional del proyecto.

This introductory chapter presents the 2024-2025 academic report of the Iberdrola Chair in Economic and Business Ethics as a reflection on more than two decades of shared work. José Luis Fernández Fernández highlights the thematic unity of the volume around the ethical dimension of research, teaching, and knowledge transfer, and stresses the value of posing questions that stimulate further reflection in a context shaped by digitalization and generative artificial intelligence. The text also reviews projects, internal seminars, awards, doctoral workshops, and recent initiatives of the Chair, while acknowledging the contribution of collaborators and the support of Iberdrola. Finally, it points to the future of the Chair in the growing field of AI ethics and in the institutional continuity of this academic project.
