Resumen : .
Abstract: This manual provides practical guidance for community members and other non-specialist supporters helping people bereaved during and after the COVID-19 pandemic. It combines personal stories of loss with evidence-based information on major risk factors for complicated grief, especially the inability to say goodbye, isolation, lack of social support, and the ambiguous nature of death under pandemic restrictions. The text also offers concrete advice on how to support grieving adults, children, and adolescents with empathy, honesty, and practical care, while encouraging greater grief literacy and a healthier acceptance of death as part of life.
