his manual presents a set of good-practice guidelines to improve grief and bereavement support in the aftermath of COVID-19, using a public health and community-based approach. It builds on previous AURORA@COVID19-EU training materials and offers practical resources such as scenarios, short videos, and leaflets for professionals and the wider public. The guide addresses key bereavement challenges intensified by the pandemic, including the inability to say goodbye, social isolation, ambiguity surrounding death, common myths about grief, support for bereaved children, and the role of professional help. Overall, it promotes grief literacy, compassionate communication, cultural sensitivity, and stronger community responses to loss.
