Els espais educatius i socials catòlics a Mallorca. Una mirada al patrimoni cultural i social de l'Església de Mallorca durant els segles XX i XXI

Abstract

El capítol és una anàlisi històrica de tres entitats de l’acció social de l’Església Catòlica de Mallorca tenint en compte els espais emprats per a dur a terme aquesta acció, així com la dinamització i projecció d’aquests espais gràcies a les accions i projectes engegats per aquestes entitats. L’acció social i educativa és inherent, essencial i constitucional en l’Església Catòlica. Per tant, al llarg de la seva trajectòria ha creat xarxes d’entitats i espais arquitectònics a tal efecte. La Fundació La Sapiència, l’associació Jovent i Llars el Temple en són un bon exemple.

The chapter is a historical analysis of three entities of the social action of the Catholic Church of Mallorca, taking into account the spaces used to carry out this action, as well as the dynamism and projection of these spaces thanks to the actions and projects started by these entities. Social and educational action is inherent, essential and constitutional in the Catholic Church. Therefore, throughout his career he has created networks of entities and architectural spaces for this purpose. The Sapiència Foundation, the Jovent association and Llars el Temple are a good example
