La bisagra, el pliegue y el quiasmo variaciones sobre "El tema de nusstro tiempo"

Abstract

En este artículo se evalúa filosóficamente la idea orteguiana contenida en su ensayo El tema de nuestro tiempo de la conclusión de la época actual debido al agotamiento de la razón y a la necesidad de integrarla en la vida. Proponemos las imágenes de bisagra, pliegue y quiasmo como claves hermenéuticas para profundizar en estas ideas y discutir el presente y el futuro de la filosofía. Para ello analizamos la filosofía de Ortega y su conexión con la historia, la razón vital y el presente. Discutimos, sobre todo, la estructura temporal dinámica de la perspectiva y su conexión con el tema de nuestro tiempo. También se aborda la importancia de la sociología en la comprensión de la historia y las posibles orientaciones para el futuro de una filosofía que en este ensayo de Ortega anuncia su fin.

This article we philosophically evaluate Ortega y Gasset’s idea, contained in his essay El tema de nuestro tiempo, of the conclusion of the present time due to the exhaustion of reason and the need to integrate it into life. We propose the images of hinge, fold, and chiasm as hermeneutical keys to deepen these ideas and discuss the present and future of philosophy. To do so, we analyse Ortega's philosophy and its connection with history, vital reason and the present. We discuss, above all, the dynamic temporal structure of the perspective and its connection with the subject of our time. We also address the importance of sociology in the understanding of history and the possible directions for the future of a philosophy that in this essay by Ortega announces its end.
