Abstract

La memoria es el ojo del espíritu decía Shakespeare en su Hamlet. Éste es el gran deseo de la publicación : hacer memoria y rescatar del olvido al jesuita Diego Laínez con motivo del V Centenario de su nacimiento (1512). Se trata de un ejercicio de voluntad, de entendimiento y de memoria. Memoria por la amistad trazada con el grupo de compañeros en París (Ignacio, Javier, Fabro, Rodrigues, Bobabilla, Salmerón, Jayo, Broët y Codure), los diez Amigos en el Señor que entre conversaciones y deliberaciones fundarán la Compañía de Jesús.

"Memory is the eye of the spirit," said Shakespeare in his Hamlet. This is the great desire of this publication: remembering the Jesuit Diego Lainez in occasion of the V centenary of his birth (1512). It is an exercise of will, understanding and memory. Memory for friendship drawn with the group in Paris (Ignacio, Javier, Fabro, Rodrigues, Bobabilla, Salmeron, Jayo, Broet and Codure), the ten "Friends in the Lord" that between discussions and deliberations founded the Society of Jesus .
