Las medidas de eficiencia en la gestión: un estudio de los fondos de inversión socialmente responsables (FISR) de Brasil

Abstract

El presente estudio tiene como objetivo analizar la performance de los Fondos de Inversión Socialmente Responsables (FISR) desde su creación, en noviembre de 2001 hasta abril 2009, estudiando sus rentabilidades y riesgos y comparándolos con el índice de la Bolsa de Valores de Brasil (Ibovespa), con el Índice de Sostenibilidad Empresarial (ISE) y con otros índices de las principales bolsas de valores del mundo. Los resultados proporcionaron rankings de rentabilidad, riesgo y performance, destacando los fondos con mejor desempeño e riesgo. Los resultados llevan a conclusiones que los FISR vienen en constante crecimiento cuanto a su patrimonio y cantidad de fondos ofertados, y que obtuvieron resultados superiores, en determinados años, a los índices IBOVESPA e ISE

This study aims to analyze the performance of Socially Responsible Investment Funds (FISR) from its inception in November 2001 to April 2009, studying their returns and risks and comparing them with the Ibovespa and the Corporate Sustainability INDEX (ISE) and other indexes of the main stock exchanges in the world. The results provided rankings of profitability, risk and performance, highlighting the funds with better performance and risk. The results lead to conclusions that the FISR are constantly growing, both in relation to their quantity offered in the market and in relation to the net worth of the category.
