Análisis del personaje protagonista de «La tabla de Flandes», de Arturo Pérez-Reverte

Abstract

Este trabajo de fin de grado pretende ofrecer un análisis, como su propio título indica, sobre la protagonista de una novela de literatura contemporánea, del popular escritor español Arturo Pérez-Reverte. En el desarrollo de la investigación, se presentarán distintos rasgos característicos de la obra literaria de este autor, así como estudios cronológicos de los personajes literarios, para después llevar a cabo un análisis práctico del personaje central de la novela, Julia. Dicho desarrollo se apoyará en distintos fragmentos destacados de la propia novela, que se adjuntan en el anexo al presente trabajo de fin de grado, y aparecen agrupados según las dimensiones que se han seleccionado para analizar al personaje. De este modo, cada afirmación que forme parte del análisis se apoyará en uno de los fragmentos mencionados, y estará desarrollada cumpliendo con lo enunciado en la metodología del trabajo, y siguiendo lo propuesto en el marco teórico. Se presentarán, además, al final del trabajo, las conclusiones obtenidas a partir del análisis. La elaboración de esta investigación ha aportado numerosos conocimientos y nociones, no solo sobre el análisis literario en general, sino también sobre la historia del mismo, además de la posibilidad de poner en práctica lo aprendido a través del estudio efectuado por la autora.

The present thesis aims to offer an analysis, as its own title indicates, about the protagonist of a contemporary literature novel, by the popular Spanish writer Arturo Pérez-Reverte. During the development of the investigation, different characteristic features of the literary work of this author will be presented, as well as chronological studies of literary characters, in order to carry out a practical analysis of the novel’s central character, Julia. This development will be supported by different prominent fragments of the novel itself, which are attached in the annex to this thesis, and are grouped according to the dimensions that have been selected to analyze the character. In this way, each statement that forms part of the analysis will be supported by one of the aforementioned fragments, and will be developed in compliance with what is stated in the methodology of the work, following what is proposed in the theoretical framework. The conclusions obtained from the analysis will also be presented at the end of the work. The elaboration of this research has contributed to increase literary knowledge, not only about the literary analysis in general, but also about its history, as well as the possibility of putting into practice what has been learned through the study carried out by the author.
