Interpretación especializada en las galas de premios

Abstract

El presente trabajo tiene por objeto ofrecer una visión general de la labor de los intérpretes en las galas de premios cinematográficos. El papel del intérprete en este tipo de interpretación nos ha suscitado muchas incógnitas, y se pretende con este trabajo dar luz a la figura de este profesional y la importancia del mismo. Precisamente, en el tema sobre el que hablaremos en el presente trabajo, analizaremos la importancia del papel del intérprete en este ámbito, y cómo algo que en primera instancia parece sencillo, puede convertirse en la situación más agotadora, estresante y complicada, pero ante todo satisfactoria. Para ello, en primer lugar, pretendemos analizar el papel del intérprete en la interpretación simultánea y las diferencias que existen respecto a los otros tipos de interpretación. Y, en segundo lugar, llevaremos a cabo un análisis cualitativo de entrevistas realizadas a una serie de intérpretes profesionales que han trabajado en los medios de comunicación, es concreto, en las galas de premios cinematográficos. Con todo ello, pretendemos obtener una visión general, gracias al testimonio de diferentes intérpretes, quienes nos explicarán cuáles con las condiciones de trabajo del intérprete en este ámbito, cómo hace el intérprete para prepararse, qué es lo que espera el cliente del intérprete, y, por último, cuál es la experiencia y satisfacción personal de cada uno.

The present work aims to offer a general overview of the work of the interpreters in the TV shows of cinematographic awards. The role of the interpreter in this type of interpretation has aroused many unknowns, and we intend with this work to give light to the figure of this professional and the importance of it. Precisely, in the topic on which we will speak in the present work, we will analyze the importance of the role of the interpreter in this area, and how something that in the first instance seems simple, can become the most exhausting, stressful and complicated situation, but above all satisfactory. For this, first, we are going to analyze the role of the interpreter in the simultaneous interpretation and the differences that exist with respect to the other types of interpretation. And, secondly, we will carry out a qualitative analysis by a series of interviews to professional interpreters who have worked in the media, specifically, in the TV shows of cinematographic awards. With all this, we intend to obtain a general vision, thanks to the testimony of different interpreters, who will explain which the interpreter’s working conditions in this field are, how the interpreter does to prepare, what the interpreter's client expects, and finally, what is the personal experience and satisfaction of each one.
