Presencia de la mujer en la Iglesia desde la perspectiva jurídico-canónica

Abstract

La autora recomienda al comienzo de su artículo no partir de una perspectiva negativa (la imposibilidad de acceso al ministerio ordenado) sino positiva: los numerosos cauces de participación que las mujeres, tras siglos de discriminación, han conseguido recientemente en la Iglesia, al menos a nivel canónico. A través de un análisis de la disciplina vigente en el Código de Derecho Canónico de 1983 la autora trata de poner de manifiesto los importantes cauces de participación y responsabilidad que se han abierto para las mujeres, sin por ello dejar de seguir demandando una reflexión acerca de la participación de las mujeres en órganos de gobierno y en el desempeño de oficios y ministerios.

The Presence of Women in the Church from a Canon Law perspective The author recommends, at the beginning of her article, not to assume a negative perspective (the impossibility to access the ordained ministry) but a positive one: the numerous channels of participation that women, after centuries of discrimination, have recently achieved in the church, at least at a canon law level. Through an analysis of the current regulations in the 1983 Code of Canon Law, the author aims to bring to light the important channels of participation and responsibility opened for women, though at the same time, continues to demand a consideration concerning the participation of women in government bodies and the performance of services and ministries.
