Afirmación y consolidación de las Conferencias episcopales durante el Concilio Vaticano II: apuntes sobre el caso español

Abstract

Las Conferencias episcopales alcanzaron un notable protagonismo durante el Concilio Vaticano II. Por otro lado, los padres conciliares aprobaron una doctrina teológica sobre la naturaleza y misión de las Conferencias episcopales. Este trabajo se centra en la gestación fallida de la Conferencia episcopal española, tomando como base documental el diario conciliar de Monseñor Jacinto Argaya.

During the Second Vatican Council the episcopal conferences have achieved a remarkable role. On the other hand, the conciliar fathers have elaborated a theological doctrine about their nature and mission. This chapter focuses on the failed genesis of the spanish episcopal Conference. For this the author analyses and exposes the conciliar diary of the Bishop Jacinto Argaya.
