Mujer e Iglesia: participación visible y equitativa

Abstract

La cuestión de las mujeres en la iglesia es un tema ampliamente debatido en distintos foros eclesiales. Sin embargo, en los últimos años hemos pasado de hablar de la mujer en la iglesia a la participación de las mujeres en la Iglesia . Y creo que este matiz es importante, porque nos aproxima más a la demanda, de las mujeres creyentes, de ser visibilizadas y, a la vez, deja claro cuáles son los obstáculos en el «discipulado de iguales» que Jesús propuso a sus seguidores. En esta década, se nos brinda la posibilidad de soñar una iglesia con nuevas relaciones donde la filiación como hijas e hijos de Dios nos lleva a debatir como comprendemos la hermandad en igualdad de dignidades. Por lo tanto, una igualdad en tareas, responsabilidades y liderazgos eclesiales. Esto significa una nueva forma de entendernos como hermanas y hermanos, y una nueva organización eclesial que sea signo del amor dinámico y creativo de Dios en el mundo.

The issue of women in the church is a topic widely debated in different ecclesial forums. However, in recent years we have gone from talking about "women in the church" to the "participation of women in the Church". And I think that this nuance is important, because it brings us closer to the demand, from the believing women, to be visible and, at the same time, makes clear what are the obstacles in the "discipleship of equals" that Jesus proposed to his followers. In this decade, we are offered the possibility of dreaming of a church with new relationships where the filiation as daughters and sons of God leads us to debate how we understand brotherhood in equal dignity. Therefore, an equality in tasks, responsibilities and ecclesial leadership. This means a new way of understanding ourselves as sisters and brothers, and a new ecclesial organization that is a sign of God's dynamic and creative love in the world.
