La Política Agrícola Común (PAC) en la UE - ¡¡De la tecnología no se come!!

Abstract

La agricultura ha tenido históricamente una gran importancia en la economía y en la sociedad española y europea. Sin embargo, en los últimos años, la agricultura ha ido perdiendo relevancia, un menor valor de su trabajo por parte de la población general y muchas dificultades para sobrevivir. No obstante, desde el inicio de la crisis global del Covid-19, la agricultura ha demostrado su gran importancia y la necesidad de su existencia para garantizar los suministros a la población general.

Tras los últimos acontecimientos vividos por toda la población, es imprescindible recordar su importancia y esa será la labor más significativa de este trabajo: demostrar la relevancia y el valor de la agricultura en nuestra sociedad, y eso a través de la Política Agrícola Común (PAC) de la Unión Europea (UE). Para ello, se realizará un análisis histórico de la PAC con sus diferentes etapas, los cambios que ha ido realizando a lo largo de la historia para adaptarse a los tiempos hasta la situación actual y las perspectivas futuras.

También se analizará la situación de la PAC en la actualidad, con sus diferentes pilares y usos dentro de la sociedad, tanto a nivel europeo, como español e internacional fuera de las fronteras europeas. Se verán casos concretos y ejemplos en la que se demostrará a nivel práctico la importancia de la PAC dentro de la sociedad.

Para acabar, se examinarán los problemas y desafíos de la PAC dentro de la UE, en la sociedad española y a nivel internacional a los que se tiene que enfrentar para su futuro, para seguir teniendo financiación y ser verdaderamente útil para la sociedad o para seguir teniendo una imagen positiva dentro de nuestra sociedad y a nivel mundial.

Agriculture has historically had a great importance for the economy and for the Spanish and European society. However, in the last years, agriculture has been losing its relevance, a less value for their work from the general population and many difficulties to survive. Nevertheless, since the beginning of the global crisis of Covid-19, agriculture has proven its huge importance and the necessity of its existence to guarantee the supplies for the general population.

After the last events experienced by the entire population, it is essential to remember its importance, and this will be the most significant work of this essay: show and prove the relevance of agriculture in our society and this through the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) of the European Union (EU). To this end, an historical analysis of the CAP will be made with its different stages, the changes it has made throughout the years to adapt itself to the times until the current situation and the future perspectives.

Furthermore, the current situation of the CAP will also be analyzed, with its different pillars and uses in the society, not only at a European level but also at a Spanish level and in the international stage outside the European borders. Concrete cases and examples will be seen where the importance of the CAP at a practical level in our society will be proven.

Finally, the problems and challenges of the CAP in the EU, the Spanish society and at an international level that it is facing for its future, in order to have enough financing and very really useful for society or to still have a positive image within our society and at a global level will be examined.
