La instrucción Cor orans. La renovación de la vida contemplativa femenina en la Iglesia

Abstract

El nuevo conjunto normativo sobre la vida contemplativa femenina que integran Vultum Dei quaerere y Cor orans constituye un paso relevante hacia la renovación de la vida monástica femenina. El trabajo hace una presentación de las características de la Instrucción Cor orans situándola en el conjunto de la normativa canónica sobre la vida contemplativa femenina. Se abordan los cuatro contenidos fundamentales del documento: la autonomía de los monasterios, las Federaciones, la separación del mundo con especial referencia a la clausura y la formación. Especial atención han merecido las novedades normativas introducidas por la Instrucción obligación de federarse, itinerario formativo delimitado temporalmente, privación de la autonomía jurídica cuando falta una autonomía de vida mínima-, las derogas a algunos cánones del código y las diversas competencias sobre el monasterio autónomo de la Santa Sede, el Obispo diocesano, el Superior religioso y la Presidenta de la Federación.

The norms of women s contemplative life contained in the Vultum Dei quaerere and Cor orans constitute a relevant step to the renewal of women monastic life. This study present the characteristics of the Instruction Cor orans inside the set of the canonical regulation of the contemplative life. The four fundamental contents of the document are studied: the monastery autonomy, the federation of monasteries, the separation from the world through the Cloister and the formation. It deserves special attention the new norms who the Instruction introduce federate obligation, temporarily delimit the formative process, privacy of juridical autonomy when blacks autonomy of life- derogation of canon of canon law and the skills over monastery of the Holy See, the diocesan Bishop, the religious Superior and the Federation President.
