Las relaciones del narcotráfico y la corrupción en México y Colombia.

Abstract

Este trabajo consiste en el análisis de dos casos prácticos a la hora de determinar si existe relación entre el narcotráfico y la política y comprobar la hipótesis de que, en aquellos espacios donde la financiación política no es clara, la línea de contacto con cárteles de la droga es mayor. Es decir, a mayor nivel de presencia del narcotráfico, menor transparencia política. Para ello dividiré el trabajo de la siguiente manera; primero crearé una introducción a los dos casos prácticos y explicaré la situación del narcotráfico y la corrupción en Colombia y México. Luego explicaré los motivos y la finalidad de dicho trabajo y haré un resumen de los estudios realizados hasta el momento sobre este tema. Además, explicaré por qué es necesario ahondar aún más en él. Tras esto, mostraré los objetivos del trabajo y la hipótesis antes mencionada y explicaré la metodología usada para el trabajo. Después realizaré el análisis de dos casos prácticos en dos países distintos, Colombia y México. El primero será el Proceso 8000 y su relación con Ernesto Samper (antiguo presidente del país) y los narcocasetes. El segundo caso será el de Tomás Yarrington y su relación con el cártel del Golfo y Los Zetas. Por último y tras comparar ambos casos, realizaré una conclusión.

This work consists in the analysis of two case studies to determine if there is a relationship between drug trafficking and politics and to confirm the hypothesis that, in those spaces where political financing is not clear, the line of contact with drug cartels is greater. In other words, the greater the level of drug trafficking presence, the less political transparency there is. In order to do this, I will divide the work as follows; first I will create an introduction to the two case studies and explain the situation of drug trafficking and corruption in Colombia and Mexico. I will then explain the reasons and purpose of this work and make a summary of the studies that have been carried out on this subject. In addition, I will explain why it is necessary to research further into this issue. After this, I will show the objectives of the work and the hypothesis mentioned above and explain the methodology used for the work. After this, I will do the analysis of two case studies in two different countries, Colombia and Mexico. The first will be the Process 8000 and its relationship with Ernesto Samper (former president of the country) and the narcocasetes. The second case will be the one of Tomás Yarrington and his relationship with the Gulf Cartel and Los Zetas. Finally, and after comparing both cases, I will make a conclusion.
