ANGLICISMOS EN LA TERMINOLOGÍA DEPORTIVA DEL HOCKEY HIERBA

Abstract

Este TFG centra sus esfuerzos en la presencia de anglicismos en el hockey sobre hierba. El objetivo es realizar un estudio y análisis pormenorizado de la influencia del inglés en la terminología española del hockey sobre hierba. Para ello hemos seleccionado los anglicismos encontrados en los Reglamentos de hockey del año 2019 en español, además de otros anglicismos que se utilizan con frecuencia en la lengua oral en partidos y entrenamientos. El presente trabajo de investigación propone como marco de estudio la socioterminología, considerando así al hablante y el uso oral de la terminología como protagonistas de nuestro estudio. Para alcanzar los objetivos expuestos, la estructura de este TFG será la siguiente: primero, se expondrán las razones por las cuales este trabajo es pertinente; segundo, se definirá el marco teórico, el cual tomará forma a través de los apartados de: historia de la terminología del hockey hierba, los anglicismos en el deporte, el anglicismo y sus tipologías, la elaboración de glosarios deportivos, la socioterminología y el estado de la cuestión; tercero se hará referencia a la metodología para exponer la estructura, la disposición y las fuentes utilizadas; cuarto, se expondrá el análisis de los anglicismos escogidos y se terminarán de argumentar las líneas temáticas enumeradas en el marco teórico, todo ello expuesto de acuerdo con el marco definido en la metodología: finalmente, se procederá a indicar cuáles han sido conclusiones del análisis y se propondrán líneas de investigación futuras.

The focus of this final dissertation is on the presence of anglicisms in field hockey terminology. The goal is to conduct research on this topic to analyze the influence that English language has had on Spanish terminology in field hockey. Thus, we have made our selection of anglicisms from the Rules of the Game of 2019 document, on the one hand, and from the use of anglicisms present in the oral language, on the other hand. This dissertation will be framed with the theory of social terminology by granting our focus to the individual; as the creator and the one beneficiated from terminology. In order to accomplish our objectives, this dissertation will be structured as follows: first, we will address the reasons behind the importance of this analysis; second, we will define the theoretical framework highlighting the history and origin of field hockey and its relation to the presence of anglicisms, the typology of anglicisms, the presence of anglicisms in sports, the creation of sports glossaries, the theory of social terminology and the state of the art; third, the methodology will be displayed to link the sources and the structure of our analysis; fourth, the analysis of the anglicisms and its interpretation will be argued following the lines of discussion mentioned on the theoretical framework; finally, we will explain our conclusions and propose further research questions.
