El laberinto político de Israel. Hacia unas terceras elecciones para formar gobierno

Abstract

El 17 de septiembre, por segunda vez en 2019, se celebraron elecciones generales para elegir la Knesset. Al igual que en abril, ningún partido fue capaz de aglutinar los 61 diputados que abren la puerta de la gobernabilidad. Aunque el Likud de Netanyahu y la coalición Azul y Blanco de Gantz fueron llamados consecutivamente por el presidente Rivlin para conformar el Ejecutivo, el líder de Yisrael Beitenu, Avigdor Liberman, bloqueó cualquier opción. Así pues, los ciudadanos israelíes tendrán que esperar hasta el 2 de marzo de 2020 para votar por tercera vez y lograr entonces una mayoría de gobierno que encuentre la salida al laberinto en que se ha convertido la política en Israel.
