El fin de ETA y la configuración de un pensamiento

Abstract

El presente trabajo trata de analizar la posible influencia que los medios de comunicación y en especial los documentales, han podido tener en la formación del pensamiento en la juventud vasca sobre lo que fue el fin de ETA y el conflicto vasco. Se presentará inicialmente la forma de pensar de los jóvenes vascos a través de la recopilación de distintas encuestas y se analizará posteriormente el papel histórico que han jugado los medios de comunicación de masas en la formación del pensamiento político a través de sus herramientas de framing y agenda setting. Finalmente se analizará el visionado de tres documentales diferentes, producidos y emitidos por diferentes medios, con el fin de analizar las diferencias entre ellos y poder entender el impacto que dichas diferencias pueden tener a la hora de conformar un pensamiento distinto sobre un mismo tema histórico.

This work tries to analyze the possible influence that the mass media and especially documentaries, have been able to have on the formation of Basque youth way of thinking on what was the end of ETA and the Basque conflict. The way of thinking of young Basques will be initially presented through the compilation of different surveys and the historical role that the mass media has played in the formation of political thought through their framing tools and the agenda setting. Finally, the viewing of three different documentaries, produced and broadcast by different sources, will be analyzed in order to identify the differences between them and to understand the impact that these differences can have when shaping a thought and an ideology on the same historical topic.
