Abstract

"Uno en el Uno" (Eins in eime). La realidad como experiencia de unidad según Enrique Suso. Según Enrique Suso OP, discípulo del Maestro Eckhart, Dios es "lo más real". Los seres humanos pueden llegar a experimentar esta realidad y convertirse en "uno con el Uno". A lo largo de este artículo, analizamos cómo en el Libro de la Verdad de Suso, el autor aborda las cuestiones planteadas en los sermones de Eckhart 101-104 sobre el nacimiento eterno de Dios. En el sermón 101, Eckhart responde a cuatro preguntas: 1) ¿Dónde tiene lugar el nacimiento? En el fondo del alma. 2) ¿Cómo tiene lugar? Dios pronuncia su palabra, sin imagen ni intermediario alguno, en la unidad de la naturaleza divina. 3) ¿Cómo deben actuar los seres humanos? Deben permanecer receptivos y silenciosos - "sin saber". Y finalmente, 4) el fruto del nacimiento - ser hijos de Dios. Suso intenta profundizar y explorar el sentido y los límites de las afirmaciones eckharianas, ofreciendo su propia interpretación. Comienza con el fruto de la unión, que nos convierte en hijos de Dios, y bienaventurados. También profundiza en la "ignorancia" en la experiencia mística y aclara que se trata de otro tipo de percepción más allá del principio de no contradicción: una docta ignorancia. Unido al Hijo, el ser humano "se pierde en Dios", y "se ha convertido en el Uno y se ha hecho uno". La principal aportación de Suso se centra en explicar cómo los seres humanos pueden estar inmersos en la Unidad divina y seguir siendo criaturas de Dios. La noción eckhartiana de "in quantum" juega también en él un papel importante para entender esta propuesta.

"Oneness in One" (Eins in eime). Reality as unity experience by Heinrich Seuse. According to Henry Suso OP, a disciple of Master Eckhart, God is “the most real”. Human beings can come to experience this reality and become “one with the One”. Throughout this article, we analyse how in Suso’s Little Book of the Truth, the author approaches the issues raised in the Eckhartian sermons 101-104 on the eternal birth of God. In sermon 101, Eckhart answers four questions: 1) Where does the birth take place? In the ground of the soul. 2) How does it take place? God pronounces his word, without image or intermediary whatsoever, in the unity of the divine nature. 3) How should human beings act? They should stay receptive and silent – ›unknowing‹. And finally, 4) the fruit of birth – to be sons of God. Suso tries to go deeper and explore the sense and the limits of the Eckhartian affirmations, offering his own interpretation. He begins with the fruit of the union, becoming sons of God, and blessed. He also delves in the ignorance of the mystical experience and clarifies that it is about another type of perception beyond the principle of non-contradiction: a docta ignorantia. United with the Son, the human being “loses himself in God”, and “has betaken himself into the One and has become one”. Suso’s main input is centered on how to explain how human beings can be immersed in the divine Unity while remaining creatures of God. The Eckhartian notion of in quantum plays a significant role in order to understand the proposal.
