Ingreso mínimo vital: trayectoria y retos

Abstract

El Ingreso Mínimo Vital es un hito en las políticas de garantías de ingresos en nuestro Estado. Una primera contribución que realiza el autor, absolutamente necesaria, es situar el Ingreso Mínimo Vital en su filosofía y alcance y para ello adopta una perspectiva histórica y contextualizada en las diversas prestaciones existentes, especialmente en las Comunidades Autónomas. Se analizan las diversas críticas recibidas tanto a su planteamiento como también su implementación. Este último aspecto merece ser destacado porque hay miles de personas perdidas en una maraña burocrática sin poder acceder a una prestación básica para la vida de muchas familias.

The Minimum Vital Income is a milestone in the income guarantee policies in our State. A first contribution that the author makes, absolutely necessary, is to situate the Minimum Vital Income in its philosophy and scope and for this it adopts a historical and contextualized perspective in the various existing benefits, especially in the Autonomous Communities. The various criticisms received of both its approach and its implementation are analyzed. This last aspect deserves to be highlighted because there are thousands of people lost in a bureaucratic tangle without being able to access a basic benefit for the lives of many families.
