Figuras modernas y posmodernas del cristianismo: ética altruista, autorrealización personal y bienestar emocional.

Abstract

La tesis que defenderé es la de la observación en nuestra realidad eclesial de la existencia de tres versiones del cristianismo que acentúan de manera unilateral un aspecto que termina desvirtuando la fe cristiana. Estos acentos son los de un cristianismo emocional, ético y de autorrealización que han emergido en la segunda mitad del siglo XX por el deseo de inculturar la fe cristiana en la mentalidad moderna de Europa. Por ello, analizaré por separado estos tres tipos de cristianismos dando algunos elementos teológicos con lo que habrían de enriquecerse. Situado en el horizonte amplio de una Iglesia convocada por Juan Pablo II para una Nueva Evangelización, daré algunas reflexiones personales sobre los nuevos modelos pastorales en nuestro contexto occidental y español.

The thesis that I will defend is the observation in our ecclesial reality of the existence of three versions of Christianity that accentuate in a unilateral way an aspect that ends up distorting the Christian faith. These accents are those of an emotional, ethical and self-realisation Christianity that have emerged in the second half of the 20th century due to the desire to inculturate the Christian faith in the modern mentality of Europe. I will therefore analyse these three types of Christianity separately, giving some theological elements with which they should be enriched. Placed in the broad horizon of a Church called by John Paul II for a New Evangelisation, I will give some personal reflections on the new pastoral models in our western and Spanish context.
