Corrupción, transparencia y sociedad civil

Abstract

Aunque aparentemente pueda parecer que los términos corrupción, transparencia y sociedad civil tienen poco que ver entre sí, es mucha la relación que existe entre ellos. Para demostrar dicha afirmación vamos a utilizar una imagen. Imaginemos un despacho cuya puerta tiene un cristal que puede ser opaco, traslúcido y transparente. Dentro del despacho encontramos a varias personas interactuando y fuera a un grupo más numeroso que observa lo que hacen. Si las prácticas que llevan a cabo los que están dentro del despacho son ilegales sólo podrán ser percibidas por los que están fuera si ese cristal es transparente, ya que si es opaco o translúcido estaremos encontrando dificultades para ello.

Although it may apparently seem that the terms corruption, transparency and civil society have little to do with each other , it is much the relationship between them. To prove this statement we will use an image. Imagine an office which has a glass door can be opaque, translucent and transparent. Within the office we found a number of people interacting and out to a larger group observing what they do. If the practices that held those inside the office are illegal may only be perceived by those outside if that glass is transparent , because if it is opaque or translucent be finding it difficult to do so.
