La relación entre la diferenciación del self y el apego adulto: Revisión bibliográfica.

Abstract

La diferenciación del self es un constructo multidimensional que hace referencia a la capacidad para la autorregulación emocional, que permite a la persona funcionar de manera individual y estar conectada emocionalmente con los demás. El apego es el vínculo afectivo que se crea con las personas de nuestro entorno más cercano, que busca cumplir nuestra necesidad de sentirnos próximos y seguros a lo largo de nuestra vida, favoreciendo nuestra supervivencia y proporcionando la estimulación necesaria en los niños para su correcto desarrollo. El objetivo de este trabajo es comprender la relación que existe entre la diferenciación del self y el apego adulto. para la realización de este trabajo se llevó a cabo una revisión bibliográfica mediante los siguientes metabuscadores: Jabega UMA, Google Académico y APA PsycNET. Los estudios parecen coincidir en que existe una relación negativa entre la Diferenciación del Self y la ansiedad y la evitación en las relaciones de apego adulto, y unas relaciones positivas entre el corte emocional y la evitación, y entre la reactividad emocional y la ansiedad en el apego.

Differentiation of self is a multidimensional construct that refers to the capacity of emotional self-regulation, which allows a person to function individually and to be emotionally connected with others. Attachment is the emotional bond we create with the people of our close environment, which looks for our needs of feeling near and secure during our life, promoting our survival and providing the necessary stimulation in children for their correct development. The objective of the present study is to understand the relation that exist between differentiation of self and adult attachment. For the making of the present study, a bibliographic review was carried out with the following metasearch engines: Jabega UMA, Google Academics and APA PsycNET. The studies appear to agree in the existence of a negative association between Differentiation of Self and anxiety and avoidance in relationships of adult attachment, and positive association between emotional cutoff and avoidance, and among emotional reactivity and anxiety in attachment.
