Animación a la lectura en el área de Inglés : 3º Primaria

Abstract

El principal objetivo de realizar esta Programación Didáctica en el área de Inglés es fomentar la lectura y el hábito lector en los alumnos de 3º de Primaria, así como motivarles para que perciban los cuentos como una oportunidad de aprendizaje y disfrute a la vez que desarrollan distintas competencias a través de ellos.

A lo largo del presente trabajo, se desarrollará una Programación General Anual que incluirá una serie de Unidades Didácticas. Además, se tratarán conceptos básicos relacionados con la lectura y se trabajará empleando distintas estrategias y metodologías, como Storytelling o el aprendizaje cooperativo, para favorecer la adquisición de la lengua extranjera Inglés en los alumnos de Primaria y facilitar su desarrollo integral.

Se tendrán en cuenta ambos papeles, el del alumno, como principal protagonista de este proceso y el del profesor, cuya labor será también muy importante, pues será el encargado de guiar y acompañar al alumno en todo el proceso de aprendizaje.

Dicho enfoque surge debido a la observada falta de motivación hacia la lectura por parte de los jóvenes y a la necesidad de implementar y fomentar el hábito lector en ellos, con el fin de mejorar y desarrollar las habilidades lingüísticas de los alumnos en la segunda lengua.

The main objective of this Annual Syllabus is to encourage and develop the reading habit in El’s learners, as well as, to motivate them to perceive stories as an opportunity for acquiring the language and developing different skills.

Throughout the present work, an Annual Syllabus will be developed which will include a series of Didactic Units. In addition, basic concepts related to reading will be dealt with and different strategies and methodologies, such as Storytelling and cooperative learning, will be used to favor the acquisition of the foreign language English in Primary School Students.

Both roles will be taken into consideration, the one of the students, as the main protagonist of this process, and the one of the teachers, whose work will also be very important, as they will be in charge of guiding the students throughout the learning process.

This approach arises due to the observed lack of motivation towards reading on the behalf of young people and the need to implement this habit to improve and develop the linguistic skills of students in their second language.
