Derecho e Iglesia en los tiempos del COVID. Respuestas jurídicas de la Iglesia católica y el Estado Miguel Campo Ibáñez y Almudena Rodríguez Moya

Abstract

El COVID-19 ha tenido un impacto devastador en la sociedad. Como señala la obra que es[1]tamos comentando, no solo ha causado millones de muertes en el mundo, sino que además ha generado graves problemas económicos y sociales y no cabe duda de que hay un antes y un después de esta pandemia. El objetivo de esta obra es analizar, por un lado, las normas promulgadas por el Estado español en su incidencia sobre el derecho fundamental de libertad religiosa, y, por otro, la normativa promulgada por la Iglesia católica en España, recogiendo también la normativa universal de la Santa Sede, desde que irrumpiera el SARS-CoV-2 en España hasta el verano de 2020 en que se levantó el primer estado de alarma decretado para proteger a los ciudadanos de la COVID-19.

COVID-19 has had a devastating impact on society. As the work we are commenting on points out, it has not only caused millions of deaths in the world, but has also generated serious economic and social problems and there is no doubt that there is a before and after this pandemic. The objective of this work is to analyze, on the one hand, the norms promulgated by the Spanish State in their incidence on the fundamental right of religious freedom, and, on the other, the norms promulgated by the Catholic Church in Spain, also collecting the universal norms of the Holy See, since the SARS-CoV-2 broke in Spain until the summer of 2020 when the first state of alarm decreed to protect citizens from COVID-19 was lifted.
