Abstract

El artículo examina algunas características del voto que se desprenden del tratamiento bíblico de esta práctica, con especial atención a la legislación relativa al voto femenino presentada en Nm 30.2-17. Partiendo de un breve examen de la práctica del voto en el antiguo Cercano Oriente y en la Torá, el estudio se centra en el análisis del texto legal que el Libro de los Números dedica íntegramente a las mujeres y los votos que pronuncian.

The article examines some characteristics of the vote that emerge from the scriptural treatment of this practice, with particular attention to the legislation concerning the votes cast by women presented in Nm 30.2-17. Starting from a brief examination of the practice of voting in the ancient Near East and in the Torah, the study focuses on the analysis of the legal text that the Book of Numbers dedicates entirely to women and the vows they pronounce.
