Abstract

El título del presente ensayo se hace eco de una conocida y divulgada obra del profesor José Ramón Busto que ha introducido a distintas generaciones en el misterio de Jesús de Nazaret . En ella se acomete la ardua tarea de entrelazar los datos de la exégesis con la teología y, además, exponerlo con nitidez teniendo como horizonte grupos cristianos heterogéneos que pudieran no estar familiarizados con la jerga teológica ni con su metodología. Por eso, no siendo la obra de mayor relieve a lo largo de su trayectoria académica, sí una de las que mejor representan su talante, su claridad expositiva a la hora de argumentar, la capacidad de adaptarse a un determinado auditorio y, en definitiva, una forma honesta de hacer teología que tiene que ver con el tema que nos convoca para este homenaje, Verbum Dei religiose audiens.

The title of this essay echoes a well-known and publicized work by Professor José Ramón Busto that has introduced different generations to the mystery of Jesus of Nazareth. It undertakes the arduous task of intertwining the data of exegesis with theology and, in addition, exposing it clearly having as a horizon heterogeneous Christian groups that may not be familiar with theological jargon or its methodology. Therefore, not being the work of greatest importance throughout his academic career, but one of those that best represent his mood, his expository clarity when arguing, the ability to adapt to a certain audience and, in short, an honest way of doing theology that has to do with the theme that summons us for this tribute, Verbum Dei religiose audiens.
