Análisis de la política exterior rusa mediante el estudio comparativo entre la guerra afgano-soviética y el conflicto de Crimea

Abstract

Con la invasión de las tropas rusas a sus vecinos ucranianos, hemos sido testigos de una política de línea dura por parte de Rusia que hacía décadas que no se daba. Tras la caída de la Unión Soviética en 1991, la política exterior del Kremlin ha estado dirigida hacia el reavivamiento de un sentimiento de pertenencia a una potencia cuyas actuaciones de alguna forma u otra influyen en el panorama de las relaciones internacionales. Este trabajo de investigación realiza un análisis de dos conflictos mediante los cuales tanto la extinta Unión Soviética como la federación rusa han tratado de aumentar su influencia y control en el panorama regional, y de este modo llamar la atención en el panorama internacional. El foco principal de este trabajo es llevar a cabo un análisis de ambos conflictos en detalle para posteriormente compararlos y así poder establecer los patrones de conducta de la política exterior que han llevado y pueden llevar a que se produzcan esta serie de invasiones por parte de los rusos. Ello se debe a que es de vital importancia conocer porque se están produciendo los acontecimientos en Ucrania, así como tratar de entender la configuración de Afganistán a día de hoy en el entorno regional, estando marcado ambos por los conflictos que involucran a los rusos y sus políticas.

With the invasion of Russian troops into their Ukrainian neighbours, we have witnessed a hard-line policy on the part of Russia that has not been the case for decades. After the fall of the Soviet Union in 1991, the Kremlin's foreign policy has been aimed at reviving a feeling of belonging to a power whose actions in one way or another influence the landscape of international relations. This research work carries out an analysis of two conflicts through which both the extinct Soviet Union and the Russian Federation have tried to increase their influence and control on the regional scene, and thus attract attention on the international scene. The main focus of this work is to carry out a detailed analysis of both conflicts to later compare them and thus be able to establish the patterns of foreign policy conduct that have led and may lead to the occurrence of this series of invasions by the russians. This is because it is vitally important to know why the events in Ukraine are taking place, as well as to try to understand the configuration of Afghanistan today on its regional environment, which are both marked by the conflicts which involve russians and their policies.
