Women in the 20th Century. The equality challengue in regulation and case law

Abstract

A priori, es difícil rechazar la exigencia de igualdad, ya que se considera deseable y positivo, un ideal a alcanzar en las esferas social, económica y política, entre otros. En el siglo XX, existen numerosas demandas que se preocupan por la lucha por la igualdad entre hombres y mujeres tanto en Europa como en España. Ha sido un objetivo de la regulación jurídica y de la jurisprudencia.

A priori, it is difficult to reject the demand for equality, since it is considered desirable and positive, an ideal to achieve in the social, economic and political spheres, among others. In the 20th century, such demands has become more concerned whit the struggle for equality between men and women both in Europe an in Spain. It has been an objetive for regulation and case law.
