Apologética y teología a través de la belleza

Abstract

Retomando la intuición de Henri de Lubac en su conferencia “Apologética y teología”, este artículo plantea proponer y defender la fe hoy a través de una profundización teológica y espiritual en la que fe, vida, racionalidad y mística vayan de la mano. También se presenta la belleza como la clave espiritual más fructífera para hablar de Dios hoy, partiendo de la diversidad que hay en la manera de entenderla y acercarse a ella y ofreciendo un criterio hermenéutico (el amor) para establecer una jerarquía entre las distintas formas de belleza. Finalmente se propone utilizar la vía de la belleza como camino de conversión que ofrecer proféticamente a la sociedad actual.

Returning to the intuition of Henri de Lubac in his lecture "Apologetics and theology", this article suggests proposing and defending faith today through a theological and spiritual deepening in which faith, life, rationality, and mysticism go hand in hand. Beauty is also presented as the most fruitful spiritual key to talk about God today, departing from the diversity that exists in the way of understanding and approaching it and offering a hermeneutic criterion (love) to establish a hierarchy among the different forms of beauty. Finally, to use the path of beauty as a path of conversion is proposed as a prophetical offer to today's society.
