Programa de prevención del duelo para alumnos de Segundo Ciclo de Educación Primaria

Abstract

La muerte, el duelo y la pérdida son temas esenciales en el ámbito educativo aunque ausentes en los centros y en la legislación por la que se rigen. Existen escasos programas que lo trabajen preventivamente desde edades tempranas a pesar de las múltiples investigaciones que justifican esta necesidad. Este Trabajo de Fin de Máster aborda los procesos del duelo desde la prevención y la educación emocional. Es esencial ser conscientes de la necesidad de trabajar estos temas según el momento evolutivo en el que se encuentra el niño, favoreciendo su comprensión de manera natural y emocional. De esta forma, el desarrollo emocional del estudiante se relaciona con cómo afronta y gestiona sus procesos de pérdida. Esta propuesta se orienta a alumnos de segundo ciclo de Educación Primaria, con el objetivo de ir incluyéndose en el resto de cursos y etapas con el paso del tiempo. Además, se divide en tres destinatarios: docentes, familias y alumnos, considerando esencial la formación de los dos primeros para que puedan trabajar con los estudiantes adecuadamente según su desarrollo evolutivo y con las menores dificultades posibles.

Death, grief and loss are essential topics in educational sphere. Nevertheless, they are absent in schools and in the legislation governing them. There are few programs which work on them preventively from an early age, despite the many research studies that justify this need. This Master`s Thesis explains the processes of grief from a prevention and emotional education perspectives. It is essential to be aware of the requirement to work on these issues according to the child's stage of development, facilitating their understanding in a natural and emotional way. Hence, the student's emotional development is related to how he copes with and manages his loss processes. This proposal is aimed at pupils in the second cycle of Primary Education. It has the objective of being included in the rest of the courses and stages over time. Furthermore, it is divided into three target groups: teachers, families and students. The training of the first two is essential for them to be able to work with students appropriately according to their developmental stage and with the least possible difficulties.
