Abstract: .
This editorial discusses the state of research on violent behavior in educational and online environments, with a focus on bullying, cyberbullying, and dating violence. The article highlights the need for unified criteria for conceptualizing these phenomena and discusses models and explanatory theories of violent behavior. The objective of the Research Topic is to contribute to the existing literature on these phenomena. The article summarizes the results of five studies that deal with the relationships between bullying, cyberbullying, and dating violence with different predicting and mediating variables. The studies show that victims of partner violence through digital technologies are more likely to suffer psychological, emotional, verbal, and physical violence. Prevention programs, such as "PRO-Mueve Relaciones Sanas," have been effective in reducing violent behavior and promoting healthy relationships. The article emphasizes the importance of schools in promoting healthy interpersonal relationships and preventing violent behavior. The article also discusses the role of social media in cyberbullying and the need for effective interventions to address this issue. The document includes a list of references related to various aspects of bullying, including cyberbullying, school bullying, and dating violence.
