Abstract

El libro de Números contiene material literario de carácter legislativo que, a primera vista, parece una mera repetición de tradiciones análogas, contenidas en otras partes de la Torá. Una lectura atenta del texto hace pensar que se trata, más bien, de reformulaciones, e incluso de verdaderos complementos de la legislación anterior. El artículo reflexiona sobre la naturaleza del sistema sacrificial del cuarto libro de Moisés, contenido en Números 28 y 29, para comprender su función en relación con el sistema sacrificial del libro del Levítico.

The book of Numbers contains literary material of a legislative nature that, at first glance, appears to be a mere repetition of analogous traditions contained in other parts of the Torah. A careful reading of the text suggests that it is, rather, reformulations, and even true complements to the previous legislation. The article reflects on the nature of the sacrificial system of the fourth book of Moses, contained in Numbers 28 and 29, to understand its function in relation to the sacrificial system of the book of Leviticus.
