Resumen : | Este estudio tiene como objetivo analizar la relación entre el grado de orientación al mercado de las empresas españolas a finales del siglo XX y su alcance geográfico a tres niveles: local, nacional e internacional. En definitiva, la orientación al mercado es la filosofía empresarial que dirige su actuación hacia la satisfacción del cliente, buscando la rentabilidad a largo plazo y teniendo en cuenta a la competencia. La literatura existente muestra una clara relación entre el grado de orientación al mercado y los resultados empresariales, de ahí su importancia. This study aims to analyze the relationship between the degree of market orientation of Spanish companies at the end of the 20th century and their geographical scope at three levels: local, national,and international. In short, market orientation is the business philosophy that directs its actions towards customer satisfaction, seeking long-term profitability and taking into account the competition. The existing literature shows a clear relationship between the degree of market orientation and business results, hence its importance. |
