Decir lo que pasa. Terrorismo, lenguaje y mundo

Abstract

El ser humano es homo lingüisticus. El lenguaje es para el hombre un hogar y una prisión. Toda realidad humana viene mediada por el lenguaje, tanto la que acontece en su interior (memoria, voluntad, fantasía, pensamiento) como la que le conecta con el exterior en sus relaciones sociales o en su cotidiano sentir y entender el mundo. La manipulación del lenguaje implica una distorsión del pensamiento y con ello una errónea interpretación de la realidad, todo con el fin de una posible y pretendida justificación de las actuaciones.

The human being is homo linguisticus. Language is for man a home and a prison. All human reality is mediated by language, both that which takes place within (memory, will, fantasy, thought) and that which connects him with the outside world in his social relations or in his daily feeling and understanding of the world. The manipulation of language implies a distortion of thought and with it an erroneous interpretation of reality, all with the aim of a possible and pretended justification of actions.
