Abstract

.La película está basada en una historia real que se centra en los últimos días de Sophie Scholl después de su detención por distribuir panfletos en defensa de los Derechos Humanos en la Universidad de Múnich (1943). Se juzga a Sophie Scholl con su hermano Hans Scholl y Christoph Probst sin respetar las garantías procesales que se exigen en un juicio. Los tres formaban parte de La Rosa Blanca (grupo de resistencia pacífica contra el nazismo). La película describe, fundamentalmente, el proceso penal (detención, instrucción, juicio y ejecución) de Sophie Scholl.

The movie is based on a true story that focuses on the last days of Sophie Scholl after her arrest for distributing leaflets in defense of Human Rights at the University of Munich (1943). Sophie Scholl is tried alongside her brother Hans Scholl and Christoph Probst, without respecting the procedural guarantees required in a trial. The three were part of The White Rose (a group of peaceful resistance against Nazism). The movie primarily depicts the legal process (arrest, investigation, trial, and execution) of Sophie Scholl.
