Analysis of the technical procedures used in postural reconstruction allows us to recognize a low-load therapeutic exercise modality focused on motor control. On the one hand, the main maneuvers are based on the active and prolonged maintenance of specific positions. On the other hand, these techniques induce involuntary and prolonged neuromuscular activity in other body areas. Thanks to these elements, postural reconstruction is a therapeutic approach that can have a positive impact on certain mechanical and neuromuscular disorders associated with symptomatic regions, as well as on pain.
