Resumen : .
This paper introduces an innovative method to enhance the security and reliability of drone communications by integrating Quantum Random Number Generators (QRNG) with Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS) systems. A multi-drone framework is proposed, utilizing QRNG to generate truly random frequency hopping sequences, greatly increasing resilience against jamming and interception. The framework features a protocol for concurrent access, allowing multiple drones to share a QRNG device effectively, with error handling and a shared memory system for random number distribution. Secure communication protocols ensure data integrity and confidentiality via encryption and Hash-based Message Authentication Code (HMAC) verification. Extensive simulations and statistical analyses, including spectral density, frequency distribution, and autocorrelation studies, demonstrate significant improvements in the unpredictability and uniformity of frequency hopping patterns over traditional pseudo-random methods. Results show that the QRNG-generated sequences exhibit minimal patterns and strong resistance to predictive attacks, as confirmed by statistical tests like Chi-squared and Kolmogorov-Smirnov. While minor short-term correlations indicate potential improvements for QRNG technology, overall findings validate the QRNG-based FHSS system’s potential to significantly enhance drone communication security. This approach has broad applications in military, emergency, and commercial operations, where secure drone communication is essential.
