Autonomías personales en interdependencia. La aparente paradoja.

Abstract

A partir de la constatación de que vivimos tiempos en los que se da un exagerado valor a la autonomía personal, se hace una descripción de cómo la cultura va apuntalando este deseo y por qué promover este ideal humano puede ser fuente de dificultades. A continuación, se sostiene la afirmación de que el ser humano es un animal relacional desde su mismo nacimiento y la constitución de su mente hasta su modo natural de estar en el mundo. Finalmente se hace una breve descripción de algunas dificultades psicológicas que trae el aislamiento interpersonal relacionándolo con el actual aumento de la atomización y la desafección hacia lo colectivo.

Starting from the observation that we live in times in which an exaggerated value is given to personal autonomy, a description is made of how culture is supporting this desire and why promoting this human ideal can be a source of difficulties. Next, the assertion is made that the human being is a relational animal from his very birth and the constitution of his mind to his natural way of being in the world. Finally, a brief description is made of some psychological difficulties brought about by interpersonal isolation, relating it to the current increase in atomization and disaffection towards the collective.
