Sección cuarta. De la sucesión del Estado (artículos 956-958)

Abstract

.A falta de parientes con derecho a heredar, y así evitar la existencia de bienes vacantes sin dueño, se llama a suceder en último lugar al Estado. Los artículos 956-957-958 CC regulan la sucesión intestada a favor del Estado. Regulación que combina la naturaleza privada del heredero con su carácter público lo que presenta particularidades, como el beneficio de inventario por Ley o la distribución del caudal hereditario bajo los criterios legales.

.In the absence of relatives entitled to inherit, and thus to avoid the existence of vacant property without an owner, the State is called upon to succeed last. Articles 956-957-958 CC regulate intestate succession in favour of the state. This regulation combines the private nature of the heir with the public nature of the heir, which presents particularities, such as the benefit of inventory by law or the distribution of the estate according to legal criteria.
